New year, new us in some but not all ways. We're pulling up reviews of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, and before you listen, just know we have not watched the Avatar films nor have we done so since recording. We also peek at FF7 Rebirths' collector's edition! Talking points include: new year predictions, graphics versus greeting cards, give your kid a credit card, no one returned this, and real life materia. It's January!

My Body is a Temple for Tax Purposes (Game of the Year 2023, for real tho)
Friday Dec 29, 2023
Friday Dec 29, 2023
We want to be better about release schedules in the new year but will we resolve to do so? Need to find out in this episode. The bracket ends with Jeff at the gym, and we do our old bit for the newest first time.
You'll never guess how this ends. Or you will. Hard to say.
But seriously, this is it.

Wonder, Alan Wake 2, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Lies of P, Starfield, Armored Core 6, Sea of Stars, Final Fantasy 16, Resident Evil 4, and Octopath Traveler 2.
Only one will survive.

They Might Be Dragons (Like a Dragon Gaiden)
Friday Nov 24, 2023
Friday Nov 24, 2023
(Game discussion begins at 13:49)
The podcast can't change its name, but the Yakuza series can. And it did. Really, really hard. Today we're discussing Ryu Ga Gotaku's newest entry in the long-running Like a Dragon series, Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name. That name seems long but that don't impress me much.
Talking points include: uncut Brad Pitt; Spiderman robbed me; got a Babadook upstairs; and localized Mahjong.

Some Pig (Alan Wake 2)
Friday Nov 17, 2023
Friday Nov 17, 2023
(Game discussion begins at 10:39)
The narrative had changed once again. Somehow, I had managed to get a second episode in two weeks from Listen to Player Two. I had no idea they'd discuss me, but not me. I am a single person, but they are talking about Alan Wake 2, and not just that, they covered: pumpkins in my pocket, unending descriptions, I did an art, and the journalism to game development pipeline. I couldn't predict how the Dark Place would change once again, and I could only hope that this...podcast...would lead me back once again.

Sexy Waluigi (Super Mario Bros. Wonder)
Friday Nov 10, 2023
Friday Nov 10, 2023
(Game discussion begins at 15:00)
We talk a lot, and I mean a lot, about cereal in this one. It's a huge part of our lives and so it gets I guess one-fourth of the time devoted to discussing Super Mario Bros. Wonder, one of the many swan song titles for the Nintendo Switch. Talking points include: cereal killers, Wes Anderson's The Brothers Wonder, Kim explains modern, the A word, and KONSUME KRAVE. Procreate!

Wednesday Oct 25, 2023
(Game discussion begins at 7:30)
It is a dark day for our podcast in that Joe remembered to hit publish actually. He did a quick recovery and now we're here to talk about Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty dlc. Talking points include fat bear week, open your heart to Idris, Plantsubstantiation, candy economy, everyone deserves a second second chance. Wake up, samurai!

International House of Pinocchio (Lies of P)

Monday Oct 02, 2023
(Game discussion begins at 12:41)
On this episode we definitely don't talk about the new Soulsborne game that isn't from Neowiz and is not called Lies of P. Talking points don't include: Magic the Gathering conversation starters; Lies of pp; the perfect Perry; Luminopea's prescribed pixels; my controller's dad works at Nintendo power; and my co-op lives in Canada.

Collect Ya Neck (Armored Core 6)
Tuesday Sep 19, 2023
Tuesday Sep 19, 2023
(Game discussion begins at 9:30)
The ruthless march of science continues on, foolishly, in the face of our greatest foe, Gonera, which is a word that has a definition that is only revealed if you don't skip to the review parts but you're gonna want to do that cause' we're talking about FromSoft's Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon!. Also, we introduce a new segment about collectors' editions. It's good. Talking points include: going, going, Gonera; blocks of time; Armoried Core 6; collect ya neck; you can protect the ducks.
